The Colourful New OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Is Just Wow The phone is priced at Rs 41,999 and is available in a single 8GB RAM with 128GB inbuilt storage variant

JUST DAYS after the launch of the Oneplus 6T, the company came out with a limited edition 6T in Thunder Purple. OnePlus has clearly made a mark for itself by delivering quality products not just in terms of software but also hardware.

The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple went on sale today and we can’t help but wonder why the company just didn’t release 6T in this variant.

The phone is available in India for Rs 41,999 and in a single 8GB RAM with 128GB inbuilt storage variant.

Apart from the colour and the storage, the inner working of the 6T remains the same. You can read the OnePlus 6T review here.

Here’s what we think of the limited edition OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple.

Worth The Upgrade?

The biggest question surrounding the launch of the OnePlus 6T, an upgrade to the OnePlus 6, was if it was worth changing your phone just for a new notch design and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Answering that question was tough but when it came to the Thunder Purple we think it is definitely worth it.

Thunder Purple

Some colour names just ooze class and power and the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple definitely falls in that category. The name goes well with the powerful performance ecosystem of the OnePlus 6T, taking the flagship phone game to the next level.

This colour has premium written all over it. For starters, the colour gradient on the phone changes depending on the surrounding light. There is also an ‘S’ curve across the back similar to the coach lines you see on a Rolls Royce.

This is by far one of the most premium looking phones from OnePlus’ stable and makes the Samsung Galaxy S9 and iPhone XR look like a regular flagship device.

The smooth matte finish of the thunder purple colour with contours are just mesmerising and shows the level of commitment that the company has towards building a loyal and engaged fanbase.

We have all seen the Reds in a lot of phones these days and the iPhone XR also gave a peek into the possibilities that one can have on a device when it comes to colour options, but the thunder purple takes the cake this year.

The matte finish allows you to use the device without the transparent silicone cover that comes in the box. It does not attract fingerprint smudges and looks clean and classy all the time.

For those looking to buy the OnePlus 6T, the Thunder Purple is a good option. So if you are looking to upgrade from a 5T, 3T or even the 6, the Oneplus 6T is a no-brainer.
