PM Modi Interacts With Digital India Beneficiaries Modi encouraged the youth to not just focus on manufacturing, but also on innovation

IN AN online interaction via Facebook Live, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with the beneficiaries of the Digital India campaign spread across the country.

Digital India, a flagship programme of the Government of India, was launched by PM Modi in July 2015, with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy—with a focus on rural areas.

PM Modi was seen interacting with people from the villages of UP, Haryana, Patna, Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, J&K, and Nagaland.

Among the beneficiaries, the youth, women and the elderly were seen engaging with the Prime Minister, narrating their experiences.

Modi encouraged the youth to not just focus on manufacturing, but also on innovation. “Tap into your ideas, don’t just depend on your company, get together and innovate something new,” he said.
