Delhi University First Cut-off List Released, Higher Than Before Most colleges have increased the cut-off for the arts and commerce courses

THE FIRST cut-off list for the University of Delhi’s Undergraduate Admission into Arts and Commerce courses has been released and to many students’ dismay, the cut-off for popular subjects like Economics and English have risen.

For Hindu College, the cut-off for BA (Hons) in Economics and BA (Hons) in English is at 98%, with a 0.5 % rise as compared to last year.  While B.Com (Hons) is at 97%, with a 0.5% fall, as compared to last year.

Shri Ram College of Commerce’s (SRCC) cut off for BA (Hons) in Economics is 98.5%, with a 0.75% rise from last year’s 97.75%, while at 97.75%, the B.Com (Hons) cut off remains the same as last year.

The Lady Shri Ram College (LSR) for Women’s cut-off crossed the 97 mark, with BA (Hons) in Economics at 97.75%, BA (Hons) in English at 97.5% and BCom (Hons) at 97.25%, as compared to last year’s 97.5% , 98% and 97.25%, respectively.

For BA (Hons) in Journalism, available in only 5 colleges in Delhi University, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC) has the highest cut-off of 98.5%, followed by Kamala Nehru College(KNC) and Lady Shri Ram College for Women at 97.75%, Maharaja Agrasen at 96% and finally Kalindi College at 95%.

BA (Hons) Economics: Hansraj at 98%, Miranda House at 97.75%, Ramjas at 97.5%, Dyal Singh, IP College for Women and Gargi at 97%,  Daulat Ram, and DCAC at 96.5%, CVS and KNC at  96.25%, and Maitreyi at 96 %.

BCom (Hons): Hansraj and Sri Venkateswara College at 97.5%, DCAC at 97.25%, Dyal Singh, Ramjas and IP College for Women at 97%, Daulat Ram and Gargi at 96.5 %, and CVS, Maitreyi and KNC  at 96%.
